Welcome to Zone Housing and Resettlement Services


Zone is a not for profit organisation that was setup in 2003 to provide support to over 18 year old council or private tenants living in the area of Birmingham who are trying to overcome substance misuse or ex-offenders.

We assist tenants to maintain their tenancies and help them move on to more appropriate housing.

Who pays for the support? 
Zone receives funding from Supporting People, which allows the Floating Support Scheme to be provided to tenants free of charge.

 


In 2007 we received formal notification from Birmingham City Council, that we were the "highest performing service provider working with our client group" for the year 2006.

The quote states as follows:

 “Supporting People would like to formally congratulate you on your efforts and with your permission publicly recognise this service as the Highest Performing Scheme for People with Drug Problems”

 

Floating Support

Floating support is where support is brought to you in your own home to help you cope with any housing related problem that you might be experiencing. Only when these problems have been solved will the support be taken away.
